A 3 CD set of this benefit has just been released by the Owsley Stanley Foundation.

I went to the show with my friend Bob Guy. We dropped some strong acid and by showtime I was so ripped.

Now, learning that Bear was there and recorded the proceedings, I understand a lot better.

Jerry and Bob acoustic were joined by John Kahn on stand-up bass and Mickey and Billy on bongos.

Jerry and John rushed back to San Francisco afterwards to play a late show on Broadway at The Stone.
