Nice. I went to high school with Brian Setzer's wife who's also in his orchestra.

Saw them on July 27, 1982 at the Ontario Theater in Washington D.C.  it was their first area performance, and Stray Cat Strut was riding high on the charts.  Runaway Boys was also getting lots of play.

Along with The Police Talking Heads, I think of them as a band that squandered their potential when their frontman went solo.

It's cool they are touring again.  I'd go see them if they came to Seattle.  Enjoy.

Saw them at the Fillmore. Corporate event. It was a much better than I was expecting.

They are coming to my Amp this summer and may go, should the date align.

Are their shows canned?

Are you thinking of the stray kids?

I've seen the Cats, the Orchestra, Rockabilly Riot, Christmas show, and Setzer quite a bit, including several in the front row have never noted one hint of a backing track for anyone on the stage. Brian has been not well for some time so not sure what current state is

No, I know they're good musicians for sure

The setlist and the commentary & joking between the songs I mean

Oh gotcha ..I'm fairly certain of that, yes

My buddy and I messed around on guitar early 90s. I'd want us to play Eternity and he turned it into Stray Cat Strut every time. Cracked me up.

Slim Jim marrying 70's super hottie Britt Ekland was a major score.  Gary Indiana gets all the shows...
