What a great band. First saw them a few weeks after this recording, at Town Hall in NYC, and then many more after that!
While most of the old Philzone was picking on RA, we were taking acid & going to these shows.
The clarity of this recording is indicative of how well mixed the house always was.
I still consider the Cardinals a benchmark of how good indoor concert sound could be.
Almost every room we ever heard these guys in, was a crystalline masterpiece of house sound.
I wish more people made audience recordings of the shows...but with free SBD patches as the norm, demand was low.
