A lot of folks think I get paid for my Radio work. I am actually a Volunteer Producer/ Host at   http://www.morningdewcrew.com

My actual career for the past 24 years has been as an Operating Engineer, maintaining  and servicing HVAC equipment / and general Building Maintenance in an office building in NJ.. As of Feb 1st, I am done with going to work every day.and my Union Pension has kicked into effect!  Yay!

I've already been going to some shows and doing a lot of chillin' in Coffee Shops, local watering holes, straightening up around the House and my Remote Home Broadcast Studio, etc, etc.

The main thing is I have no particular daily agenda or schedule and  I can just float around and do whatever I want to!

I'm hoping to get to Railroad Earth's New England Tour as well as Florida's Suwanee Festival featuring RRE, Peter Rowan, Sam Bush  and Leftover Salmon!

If all goes well, March will be a fun and busy month!

Congrats DJ!  Retirement is the best. Go to bed when you want and get up when you want. Pretty much do what you want.

Congratulations EZ Wind!

I can't wait to join you in retirement.

Time to write/live the next chapter in the book of your life!

Very happy for you! Yep, it's all the unknown and it can very satisfying. Or something.

Ballin' that jack and drinkin'  that wine

Congratulations!  Now you have nothing to do and all day to do it wink

I've been retired for some time now, and I can't figure out how anyone has time to work.

My life is full of all kinds of things I have to do or want to do.

Congratulations!

"I've been retired for some time now, and I can't figure out how anyone has time to work.

I've found this to be absolutely true, I retired 18 months ago and I'm busier than I've ever been.

Congrats on your retirement!!

Enjoy this beautiful well deserved chapter!

Awesome, congrats! Another 1/3/4 years left for me, unless something happens to speed it up. Cannot wait to get rid of work phone and emails.

aw, sweetness

enjoy the gold !

Thanks for the good wishes, Zoners!

Joy, I am looking at Sawtooth, as I have a Nephew & Family in Idaho, and they want to go! That would knock Idaho aka God's Country off my Bucket List!
