Over the many years, some zoners have shown themselves to be at least "fluent" in amateur hacking. Best be careful.

If I was in "Alan's" shoes, I would immediately involve law enforcement as harassment at one's workplace is a crime. I would also not talk about it. Simply put, try to mess one's work, put them in jail. 

Unfortunately there are all sorts of people out there that would engage in this kind of behavior.  The internet has a poisonous side that a certain type just can't resist.

There were some legitimate inquiries from Alan regarding the mini-movies. I also asked bluelight some questions regarding his claims about upgrade in sound quality. I didn't catch on to any mental imbalance until later. That said, I remember Alan trying to engage BL regarding his sound engineering, mixing boards, technology, etc. ANY pushback or criticism was met with hostility and belligerence. I thought he was just a self-righteous dick as much as imbalanced mentally. Name dropping doesn't help either.  I hope he gets the help he needs.

Educated might be a stretch.  To me it seems it usually starts with me pointing out a factual inaccuracy in someone’s post.  Then they hurl an insult and I reply in kind.  I can’t recall ever jumping straight to personal insults.  My cross to bear and something I could work on.  How come you don’t ask the same question to Fog or Gravy?

Not to speak for Turtle but it read to me like he was referring to more than one person and not directing that statement at you.  Fog, Gravy, 6, and RRG have done all those things you’ve mentioned above though and you don’t seem to call them out.  Also I could be wrong but haven’t you taken some personal digs at Ateix and his family?

The fucked up thing, Timmy, is that I’m pretty sure you recognized BL was unstable, and you seemed to back off on the razzing. Maybe I was misreading it, but I don’t think so. And Turtle never much dealt with the guy. But it’s like you’re fighting the good fight, for people to be totally harsh to anyone, even if it’s pushing them over the edge. 

All I’m asking for is some humanity. When someone is losing it and asks it to stop, just stop. Earlier in this thread I said that you can come at me all you want. I may act like a bitch at times, but it won’t push me to the limit. Just be aware of what it’s really doing and how the person is reacting.
