This foolish game, oh it's still the same
The notes go dancin' off in the air
And don't you believe it's true, the music is all for you
It's really all we've got to share
'Cause rockin' and rollin', it's only howlin' at the moon
It's only howlin' at the moon
As a kid growing up, I mainly knew them from the big radio friendly hits. In the last couple of years, I started to give their deep cuts and lesser known records a more thorough listen, and was pretty impressed that such a talented Prog-Rock band emerged from the Midwest. Check out their Monolith record if you never heard it. Light years more talented and way less cheesy than, say, Styx. They have a lot of subtle Christian imagery and themes in their music, but aren't real preachy or pushy about it. Reminds me of when Jesus Freaks were cool.

I was never a fan, they were a little too slick for me, but they were a great band that created a sound all their own.
On it goes.

Carry on my wayward son,
Carry on my wayward son,
There'll be peace when you are gone,
Lay your weary head to rest,
Don't you cry no more.
