Can't predict anything but that repubs will still control the state of Utah in a super majority and do whatever they want with people's rights, cities rights, and sue the federal gov'mt to steal their lands, too.  

But the fact that this is so close nationally is the scariest and saddest thing. WITAF are people seeing? How could we be so off course? Hope the vote totals show the pollsters wrong, and the electoral college works in the Dem's favor. The division in the country, and that this race is still up in the air, is so alarming.

Only prediction I care to make is Harris is going to win the popular vote, probably by a significant margin.  I usually vote third party and can do so without worry since I live in Oregon, but going with Harris/Walz this time just to pad the popular vote.

Hard to trust the polls or instinct.  Logic tells me Trump was rejected in 2020 and he will be rejected again but logic isn't logicing anymore.

Biden managed to beat Trump in the popular vote and the electoral college in 2020, and I would say that a large part of the people who voted for him did so without much enthusiasm.

Harris inherited Biden's base and has generated and maintained a great deal of enthusiasm during her shorter-than-usual candidacy.

Trump's legal woes have continued to mount in the last year or so, and I think his increasingly erratic performance reflects this. There's a good chance he'll go to jail, and he knows it.

My prediction is that Harris easily wins the popular vote, and manages a solid a victory in the electoral college. I also expect to see violence on the part of the Right because of these things.

Shame after all this time that the wordy Democrats still can't come up with a pithy slogan or bullet point bumper sticker.

Not too surprising, but there are exceptions. It's being reported today that Bill Gates contrubuted $50 million to Harris, and his ex-wife Melinda has contributed about $13 million as well. And Steve Jobs widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, who has had a close relationship with Harris for quite some time, is also said to have contributed millions to her campaign.

There are some very unconfirmed reports that a video of Trump groping the minor daughter of a donor at private event is going to be released. Probably won't be anything but right wing folks are telling people that a deep fake video is about to come out. <<<
