Moonday was the 58th year since they dragged me out of Blanche. 

And this place has been a part of me for the last quarter century. 

Things were so different when I got here. Married to sideshow Bob and completely naive about the internet but fully in love with Phil and what he gave me/Us, musically and spiritually to me/Our lives. 

Since then everything has changed. My children are a direct result of being here. 

My gratitude to the original and current iterations of this asylum is immeasurable. 

Some of you know my supposed match and true love broke my heart last October 2 weeks before Phil died. 

This has been a really hard time and of course a lot of folks from here have been such a comfort and have uplifted me at this lowest point in my life.

Since the beginning my cluelessness has created plenty of fodder here so if anyone is pleased the fact that I was completely fooled by the one who I really believed was my true love, feel free to have at it.

Anyway, my birthday proper was a really lovely day spent in nature and meditation and with my doggy and cats and turns out the first time in a decade it was my own day all to myself which was really eye-opening as well.

Thank you to everyone here who posts or lurks who has ever shown me any measure of kindness, because even if I'm bad at expressing it, or even remembering it necessarily, please believe it is appreciated somewhere deep down in My dark Soul.

Oh Joe 

There are no words to express my gratitude for this 

So beautiful on every level 

And after my birthday it's been a really hard week this means so much 

These are definitely the first and hardest days and this place and folks from it are doing so much to uplift me 

The really scary part at the end of the day this is all on me. To make it through this with any measure of sanity or hope right now feels kind of impossible. And that probably sounds naive which I've always been pretty much since I got here. Like I get that I am responsible for my health and happiness.

It's the actual doing it that's a little overwhelming.

Turtle I'm sorry you had a shitty year last year here's hoping this one is better. 

And thanks to everyone else who posted 

And thanks Mike for putting up those pictures for me. Hopefully that's something else I'll be able to do for myself.

Maybe I'll see some of you guys next weekend because even in abject poverty I cannot not be with Phil next weekend
