Cardboard HELL !

I had a bowl of menudo last weekend. 

I went to  a grilled cheese festival on Sunday. It was like being at a music festival without the music and one kind of food. Actually there was a band that did a killer version of Jessie’s Girl.

We still eat a lot of ambrosia and jello molds here during the spring and summer when they're in season

fried pumpkin blossoms....

my dad would grow pumpkin vines just for picking the blossoms; dip them in egg batter and plop them on a plate of crumbled crackers and into the frying pan they went....good stuff that I haven't had in a long time.

 

Nothing wrong with a Tony's frozen pizza once in a while.

Had a strawberry pop tart the first time in years the other day in a fit of nostalgia.  They are still good.

Had kraft mac and cheese the other day. Still Awesome, it's been 20 plus years.

We used to catch our own lobster. Now even if I attempted to harvest one I would set it free after inspection and salutations

Have you tried folding the entire Tony's pizza up, filling it with Kraft mac and cheese and eating it like a giant soft taco?

My Dad used to eat this stuff and I occasionally tried it with mixed results:

RocknRye, what you grew up calling souse we grew up calling head cheese made with vinergar. There are 2 categories of head cheese, one vinegarred, one not. I like the not.

We also called it pig's feet jelly. YUM!!!!!!! Jelly from a pig's foot!!!! 

With a name like pig's feet jelly, it HAS to be good!

Maybe Toe Jam instead? Bwhahahahaha
