You may remember that Kidd had a series of strokes. He's doing rehab and still needs help. There's a benefit on August 7 in Marin, musicians listed below.
Very cool poster, the top lettering is really mind-bending, but it's kind of sad that more than a year later, Kidd's gofundme is only at a little more than 50%.
Those are really good bands, and that will be a good show. Too bad it's too early for me to make it.
And considering the wealth of his former employers it's too bad this needs to happen, but we don't know the details and I guess it's always easy to spend other people's money.
And I guess it's also good that this IS happening, him having lots of people who do have his back.
I crossed paths with him often at TxR, and while a little crusty he was always really nice. He was unrecognizable from the person he had been. A HUGE man in older age, health problems were bound to happen.
