They continue to carry me through and onward.

Tough schedule today:

 Jorma at 5

Bobby at 6

Giants at 6

Good thing I have a computer and two TV's....

Grate song choices tonite

When they're playing this fine any song would sound good, but yeah, what Bss said.

When I first got this CD I loved the instruments but wasn't sure I wanted to listen to singing on top of how they were playing. I put it on repeat for a few days and fell in total love. So it's really especially nice to hear them live.

And hello to all of you.

Vanessa's got a pretty sweet singing voice.

From the YT chat:

FurPeaceRanch: Woody would've got vaccinated!

Jorma +1

Bobby +1

Giants (are up 1-0)

Another fun night

So maybe one of you knows - I saw this question tonight on Fb and ... why do we say tuna fish but don't say beef mammal or chicken fowl?

Loved this one. Not the same songs over and over. Jorma was on.

@Judit  because tuna is a type of fish and beef and chicken is what it is.

We do say Kobe Beef or Spring Chicken to describe it more in detail.

Wagyu beef

Black skinned chicken

Chicken egg

Quail egg

Basmati rice

Wild rice

etc.

Is Buffalo or Yak considered beef?

OK, I see. But wild rice isn't rice. Otherwise it pretty much made sense.

that 1927 Hawaiian Martin guitar was unearthed in Baltimore basement and made it's way to a mutual friend ('nother Alan)--- and Jorma's bagels came from up the street.

(I am sworn to secrecy about whether Jorma had cream cheese.)

What a treat that was last night on many different levels

Yes, I'm in love.

I received this link to  Rising Appalachia & Ramy Essam - This Land Is Your Land (Live on eTown), beautiful and soulful rendition from an old Zoner today. It was a nice thing to hear with the memory of Jorma and John Hurlbut's version still fresh.
