Who exactly is it that people think are not being allowed in that want in, except for the six or seven relentless trolls who contaminated every thread and who now have their own cesspool to play in?

Do people really think there is a large group of interesting people who can actually contribute something who don't sign up here because they're not allowed to or because it's too nice? Good people were bailing in droves from the original zone because it was turning into a one-note troll zone; I doubt those same folks are holding off from here because it's too nice.

It's not 2003 anymore. Phil & Friends as a touring concept is nine years gone, Phil has been off the road for four and the Hallowed Q broke up fifteen years ago. All that was a long time ago, there just aren't that many people interested in a place like this anymore, especially since Phil is effectively retired from full-time bands & touring.

From what I can tell this place IS an open board and most people are welcomed in, but I'm sure even those open-minded freedom fighters who whine about the way this place is supposedly run don't allow homeless crackheads into their homes.

In this world there are some people who don't have a life, don't know how to spice theirs up or make themselves desirable to hang with in real life, and some turn to internet trolling for their fun. Or just troll for whatever weird joy it brings them. Brian is right - some are on here. They do their shit and then wonder why people don't come around. Then call for more targets.

One solution is to START YOUR OWN SITE. Or start another group somewhere, FB or wherever. It's been done. If what you say is true about people needing something different, they will flock to your site. Or you might be disappointed to find you're wrong, and not many people enjoy the stupidity.

Coming to Viva, which is NOT the PZ if you haven't noticed, and bitching about how bad this place is due to managed civility, will not get you the result you desire. Do something constructive about it.
