Who watches international food vlogs on Utube?

Forums:

Been watching this guy and others for years. I like this guy because he produces high quality vlogs from interesting locations. Plus it's not only about food to me but a travel vlog too. Ethiopia is on my bucket list.

I watch a lot of chefs on YouTube.
Lately it's been various Indian food.  Also Chinese.  I don't really ever follow any recipe too closely , but use as confirmation for ingredients and technique.
Been into making saag paneer.  I recently made one with spinach and broccoli rabe with a pinch of frozen peas tossed in and blended smooth. So good.

I don't watch chef vlogs, but I'm a huge fan of this website... and he occasionally posts videos on his Instagram account:

Canning up his vermouth marmalade this weekend since it's citrus season.

Ain't no burger like a Latvian burger.

I follow David Lebovitz on Instagram. He's great and I love his Paris and France, though it's one I'll never be able to afford.

I enjoyed these from a French gent; some fun ideas that sound good and he's fun to listen to.

And Jacques Pepin, of course.

I'll watch almost any cooking video that shows up in front of me.

^^^ I follow Monsieur Pepin on Insta, too, his videos are great.

He's like Mr. Rogers or Bob Ross of cooking videos, but w/ a French accent!

I LOVE this lady's cooking videos on youtube, and I don't even speak Spanish. She uses a very primitive wood-fired stove so her methods are usually very no-nonsense and simple (she does bring a blender now and then so it's not really like caveman cooking). Whenever I feel like I need a spiritual grandmother mood boost she's my go-to.

De mi Rancho a Tu Cocina (Spanish language) Mexican recipes.

My other favorite is Spain on a Fork (English language). Killer Spanish recipes and very easy to follow.

Lastly, Jacques Pepin Jacques Pépin: Essential Techniques (English with a pronounced French accent) whenever I'm in a pinch and need a refresher course on a culinary technique.

^^^These sound right up my allee, good for this weekend's snowbound. Hope the internet service holds!

LLOLLO- De mi Rancho a Tu Cocina is so comforting, perfect for bad weather! I've stolen a lot of technique from her with fantastic results. I recall you love a good paella so you're going to enjoy the Spanish cooking youtube, he has so many authentic and simple prep comfort food recipes.

Slightly off-topic I've been spending a lot of grocery money at this place lately: https://laespanolameats.com/ The dried Nora Pepper flakes are an incredible "secret ingredient"and less than $5. They have Sherry and Vermouth vinegar which I use for certain recipes, and carry Pato Negro Iberico Jamon in small portions. Their store brand Chorizo is To. Die. For. I put it in my gumbo recipe instead of andouille b/c the store sent me chorizo as a bonus for spending $99 there and I had to use it up. It was AMAZING. Anyhow, you should check it out if you like rainy day window shopping.

Thanks for the link -- I don't know that site... their prices look to be a little better than www.latienda.com

I peaked at the Spain on a Fork -- love that he is leading w/ the concept of peasant food -- those are the deceivingly simple but yummiest dishes from an umami angle.

"Korean street food"

They sling it.

LLOLLO He has about five zillion potato recipes lol!

I shop La Tienda too, but La Espanola has a brick and mortar shop near my sister and serves Spanish sandwiches, paella, etc there so I have a little bit more brand loyalty to them. https://www.yelp.com/biz/la-espa%C3%B1ola-meats-harbor-city-4

I like watching this one. A Indian grandma  who makes huge portions of vegetarian food to give away to children and adults.

G-reg records them all so that Google won't be able to bury the baby recipe episodes.

Dise -- 5 zillion potato recipes!   peasant food that I must stay away from, sigh.

You are so lucky to have that store nearby... if I ever go to LA.....
